Re: Q:Nausesa,Dizziness,exhaustion continues?

hi,
sorry it took so long, my mom is 47 and has had cancer for 2 years. but now we got some good news and her last pet/ct scan showed that there was no more cancer. but you cant call it remission until it has been a full year. but i still like to say that she is in remission.
this has happened before and the cancer came back but now i am hoping that it wont. when she had surgery it was when she first got cancer and it was to remove the upper lobe of her right lung, the doctors didnt sew her lung up right and it was leaking,so they had to go in again, and they messed up again,so they sewed it up one more time and it was successful. i hope to hear from you again. tell clint i said "hi and i really hope he overcomes this "

Re: Q:Nausesa,Dizziness,exhaustion continues?

wow.. I am 45../..My thoughts are with you....... Clint has had some swelling of his feet, and today when I called he said he isnt "feeling" right, he couldnt say really why, just his tummy has been funny all day, and he has been feeling "icky" He also has a great problem with going from terrible constipation, then to diarreah...although we have used everything we can think of to regulate this.. it still goes back to hit and miss. Im sure it is due to the oxycotten he remains on. But a good note, he has hardly any pain again. I feel thankful for any repreve. Hugz all. Mattie

Re: Q:Nausesa,Dizziness,exhaustion continues?

Oxycontin is a powerful drug. I would imagine that could make someone feel "not right" Also Reglan is difficult for people to tolerate. I take something called Motilium which is not available in the US but available over the counter in the rest of the world. It is for digestion and has virtually no side effects and very inexpensive. I have esophageal problems and slow stomach emptying. You might ask the Dr. about something like Phenergan for naseau or just plain ginger is used often. Gingersnap cookies even work if they have real ginger in them. Just and idea and at least ginger is not another drug
