Question Squamous cell, spread to mediastinum, so stage 3.
My dad's just been diagnosed with this. He had lung cancer about 5 years ago, and it was adenocarcinoma and was treated with surgery only. This time, they will be treating with chemo and radiation only.

Anyone have any experience with squamous cell cancer? Any good survival stories?

I am really sorry to hear about your Dad's 2nd battle with this. I wish him, and you, teh very best.

If you ever need to talk about it, or just want to vent. You have found a good place to do that!
