hi. i don't know if anyone can help. i am currently seeing a ent consultant for a swollen node in neck. fna didn't show anything. my problem is chest pain. the pain isn't constant and is located in the top right of my chest. over the last few days i have started to feel short of breath and when i try to take a deep breath (not really deep) it catches in the bottom of my throat causing great discomfort and makes me cough. i just wondered if anyone knew what this was. i am fed up of feeling so ill. this has been going on since i had mono last year. most of the symptoms stay the same but now this breathing thing is different and starting to worry me. i have had shortness of breath before and was dx with b12/folic deficiency. i didn't have the pain in bottom of throat when i breathed in then. thanks for listening and for any advice. i also am a smoker and have been for about 20 years. i'm 32 female.
Trac, Head in a new direction... I wouldnt stop seeking help till I had concrete answers. It could be many things. My daughter has struggled the last 2 years with swollen lymph glands (so bad she couldnt turn her head) finnaly she found a Dr. that told her the tonsils HAVE to come out. She is 22.
