The Doc Called And Said It Is Cancer But He Is Not Sure What Kind He Was Sending It To Hershey For More Test. He Said With It Being In Both Lobes Of The Left Side That Means It Is Spreading For Somewhere But They Are Not Sure Where He Said It Could Be From The Colon Cancer He Had. Does Anyone Know Anything About Spreading Cancer Is This More Serious Now?

Im sorry to hear about that. I believe small cell is the worst and most aggressive, however all cancer is serious.

Until they determine exactly what type of cancer it is, it's source, and treatment opions... I would not try to guess atwhat type it is, or rather or not it is more serious now. I know it is nerve racking to wait for tests to come. I pray for teh best for you and for your family.

The doctor isnt sure at this point in time. IF it is the colon cancer that has moved to the lung, than this is a bad sign. Once the malignancy has moved to a distant part of the body then it is very difficult to get it all out.
