Hi! I have been pacing, ranting, raving, crying and everything else under the sun since my Dr. told me my xray results on Monday. I finally got a copy of them here it is, anybodys input is greatly appreciated!:

Mondays results:

Chest: Upright PA and lateral views demonstrate normal cardiac size and shape. Left hilum is prominent. Minimal strand-like densities are seen just above the lateal left base and no pneumonic infilitrate or consolidation seen, no congestion or pleural fluid visible, soft tissues and skeletal structures appear intact.

Impression: Prominence of the left hilum more than likely represents vascularity in an otherwise negative chest. Attempt will be made to secure the prior chest exam dating back to 2002, so that comparison can be made.

So.....I went and picked up my own from my other Dr. done in 2003 and dropped them off to them right away. These are the results of the 2 comparisons.

Clinical history: comparison of cxr done 1/14/05 and one done 11/7/03.

1. Copies of outside study supplied by patient's physician are reviewed. This consists of a chest radiograph dated 11/7/03.

2. The appearance of the left hilum is unchanged, and therefore relates to vessels.

So.....As I was typing this my Dr. calls me and tells me that my results are in (yes, I know I HAVE THEM!). She tells me not to worry, that there is nothing wrong. AFTER scaring the hell out of me on Monday. Thank you very little. I don't think I Like this woman. But.. She did get me to quit smoking. Must've done something right. Thanks!.
