 Lung cancer - Squamous cell Carcinoma
Hello to all I'm new to all of this. But I really could use some help. My dad has been diagnoised w/squamous cell carcinoma. We found out on a Tuseday and by that same friday the Dr.'s told us that he had the cancer in both lungs, liver, spleen and leasions on the brain and spinal cord. Dose anybody have any help or advise for us. We lost our real father to cance in 1988 and this is just getting too much. This man raised us kids as if we were his own and we are desperate to help him. He is starting to get a little jaundice and lossing weight. This is only his first week of radiation and it has been confined to the brain and spinal area. We are not sure when they are going to if even start chemo. We just feel so lost. We don't even know where to start to get a 2nd opinion. We need some advise please help.
