Hey,

My husband is a poster on the board and he told me that perhaps I should introduce myself and speak with some of you. I'm Dana. I'm going to read a few messages now and
get a feel for the list.

Hi,
I am Andrea. I am 21. I just lost my mom in November to colon & liver cancer. I find these boards very helpful. It is a place to vent and even though you feel like you are the only one going thru something here you find so many people with similar experiences they have been or are going thru. It is a comfort to me and hopefully I can help others. Cancer is a horrible thing to have to watch the ones you love go thru. My mom was truly my best friend. It was the worst thing to happen, but I am trying to make the best of life without her. There are days that are much harder than others. I just focus on that I will see her again someday and that life lasts forever unlike this one here on earth. I am here to listen anything you need to get off your chest. Anything at all!

Hi Dana,
I lost my mom to lung cancer just a few days ago. Was glad to be able to come here to say what I feel and have a friendly ear......Im preparing myself for the next few days......I know how hard they will be....come here when you need a friend....you will find many......

Hello Dana, welcome to the board. It's just a shame that we have to be introduced under such sad circumstances. Walter has been very brave, all through his illness, his primary concern has been you and how to tell you that he is more ill than you knew. He really does love you very much, but you have to respect his wishes and let him try the treatment.He desperately feels the need to try and beat this, for your sake, as well as his own. I admire him for his courage. Where there's life, there's hope, and he really needs your support right now. Please give him all your support, he is going to need it. And if things get on top of you, we are always here to offer you moral support. Good luck and God Bless, I will be praying for you both, Ann.
