Hello !
Finally I have learnigs that,that this site, has helped me so much. Well, I can say that I, and my cancer is pretty usual. usuallly... and .. I'll survive? Well, I'll have 2 kids and 1 hushand. I had (have) lungcancer section (left lung , so called lobo....). And yet I'm 45 year old.. What is most greate , that the cancer threatment (but not English lessons) are so is good hands in Finland.

Sorry abpout this young writtung, but it was early me , and acually , not me at all...

Welcome to the board.

Yes many survive lung cancer. What stage is yours at? There are many question, flowing through your brain right now. My mom was 59 when she passed. I have two young children that I had to help deal through so I can maybe help you there. I will watch for further posting from you. Please do not worry about your spelling....

Hi LeisaH and Nancy!

Now I got strength to write more, because of your support. I’m using now spelling checker (hopefully it works)

So my left lung bottom part was taken away on 8.4.2003. The pathologist said that the cancer cells are not spread. The other organs did not have the cancer. Doctors decided that I don’t need any other treatment (only the check in each 3 months).
But as I have now read these pages, I’m not sure if I can trust my doctors. But anyhow, I have heard, that the cancer treatment in Finland is very good. So what to do? I think that I still trust my doctor, until I die. Hehe hehe I still have not lost my humor.

It is great that you still have your humour!!!! Glad to hear from you again.

If you still have questions on your treatment you can always search on goggle.com. Many others have recommended it to others here.

It sounds as if they got the cancer infected part of the lung out and check ups every three months do not sound so far out. But you are the best person to know if something is going on. If you start to feel worse, and it is not the three month check up point, go in anyway. It does not hurt to be a little pushy, if you are not feeling well. If the doctors had listened to my mom, it may have been a different story.
