 Husbands grandmother
Hello, I am new to this board.We found out on Sept.11 that my husband grandmother has lung cancer.She raised him for the first 6 years of his life so they are very close.I don't know much yet but I do know that it is in her left lung and her kidney and perhaps her liver.They are still waiting on test results to see if it is in her brain.She was a long time smoker ,she only quit about two years ago.She is in her middle 70's.I guess what I am trying to find out is what her chances of beating this is.I am worried because of her age and other health problems that she will not beat this.She also has high blood pressure,diabetes,and heart disease.We are going to see her Sunday.I feel so bad for my husband.He has never lost anyone this close to him.I will post later to update anyone who is interested.In the meantime I am going to research lung cancer.
