Question fall before diagnois of lung cancer?

My husband passed away in Feb after 11 months of treatment, in talking to other families there seems to be alot of patients that have had a fall or injury to ribs in year before diagnoisis, has anyone else noticed this?

My father in law only began falling after the cancer had spread to his brain. Prior to that you could not look at him a tell there was anything wrong. His lung cancer had been diagnosed about 7 months prior to the brain mets.

My prayers go out to you.

Stacy.

scrum I think what is meant here is that the cancer is triggered by an injury to the ribs, i.e. the injury from the fall causing the cancer, as opposed to the cancer causing the fall.

If I remember correctly, Danny's cancer (Dan&Cheryl) started with a similar injury

Thanks for the reply in regards to injurys before lung cancer has been diag, wonder if any studies have been done on it. The treatments and etc., that my husband went thru trying to find a cure are so hard on the patient, but also hard on family, keep you hopes and prayers going.
