| | Insurance won't cover Pulmonary Dr
While in the hospital for severe back and abdominal pain, (found out it was kidney stones), my Dr discovered a nodule in my right lung, middle lobe. He ordered a CT with contrast. Results came back, noncalcifed nodule. He wants to do repeat CT's every three months for a yr, but also said he really wanted to get a Pulmonary Dr to see me as well. I've had back pain ever since having hyperparathyrodism, (2001). I had surgery to correct this. Back pain continues, as well as pain under the ribcage, right side. Over the past year and half I've developed high blood pressure. I live in Ny state and have GHI family health plus, because of their "network" coverage, my Dr is having a hard time getting them to authorize a visit with the speacilist. Has anyone else had simular problems? I'm kinda anxious as to getting answers form a speacilist.
