Off to Pulmonologist

I had a CT done last July which showed a 3-4mm density in the lung. The report suggest a long term 3-4 month ct follow up. I had another CT in October that showed no change. I just went for the 3rd CT last week and the Drs office called and said the Ct showed a slight progression in the lesion. The Dr scheduled me to see a pulmonologist. I was wondering if anyone can tell me what to expect at that appointment.

Probably Some Breathing Tests....those Are Quite Strenuous....but Tolerable. Be Ready To Put Your Lungs To The Test...it Will Measure How Much Air You Have And How Strong Your Lungs Are............

Re: Off to Pulmonologist

Hi, my first visit to pulmonologist, had xray and breathing tests. Then went for bronchoscopy for a biopsy of the lesion I had. Hopefully, you just have a benign lesion. Take care, Dolly 6740
