Uncle has lung cancer - Cancer: Lung Message Board

My uncle was recently diagnosed with lung cancer in both lungs, and also his stomach was found to have some cancer as well. What is the survival rate for something like this?? Thanks!!

I am sorry to hear of your Uncle's diagnosis. If your Uncle asked the doctor, then he should have given somewhat of a time frame. I think it depends if your Uncle is opting for treatment and there are so many other variables to determine how long your uncle has to live.
Is your uncle up and about or is he bedridden?
My husband has SCLC and it is ultimately everywhere in his body and he amazes me everyday! He is on his 3rd line of chemo and he keeps fighting so maybe your uncle will give it a fight.
How old is your Uncle?
