Mom has Lung Cancer - Cancer: Lung Message Board

Hi,I'm new here.We just found out that our mother who well be 86 Oct.19 of this month has Adeno Carcinoma.We don't know how far or what stage it is at. We don't know what to do cause of her age and we feel she would not be able to handel the kemo-tretment. We won't have more info about the cancer
for another few days,we should know more then.
Well i'll write more as soon we have more info and to fine out what alternative treatment there is. Thanks listening Poncho442

Hello Poncho, I worry every time my mother has an appointment with her doctor since she has had problems in the past. Our parents are very dear to us and the thought of losing them is very scary. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your mother.

Sorry to hear about your mom. The best is to get all the facts and I am sure the doctors will give you all the info as far as they think your mom can handle chemo or not. Just remember to ask, ask and ask questions! Very important so if you think of a question today just jot it down and bring it along with you to the appt.
