Re: my wife lost her fight

Ian, You have my deepest sympathy at the loss of your beautiful wife. I am glad to hear that her transition was peaceful and that her family was with her.I know her memories will live on." God gave us memories so that we may have roses in winter." I am not sure who said that but I read it somewhere and when my mom died it brought me some comfort.I will pray for you and your family during this difficult time . JanMarie

So sorry to here of your dear wife's passing, your wife, you and your daughters are in my prayers.

Sending your wife a lovely white rose from my garden, that my mum gave me to plant a few years ago when she was alive.
She said to me when I die that the white roses are from her to me.

My dear mum died on the 2nd Feb 2006 age 61 years old, I took 2 white roses to my mum's grave, my mum always like two!!

So I gave you one of my very special roses... God Bless to you and your family...Mandy

Sending you all some (((((((((((((((((((((hugs))))))))))))))) )))))))) from the U.K

Re: my wife lost her fight

What type of cancer did she have and how long did she have to battle the disease?

Re: my wife lost her fight

My wife had surgery for a spot that was detected on her lung on May 12 2006 she was diagonised with large cell neuroendocrine lung cancer. The cancer had spread from lung to pancreas, liver, brain and then was detected again in the lung. My wife was diagnosed 9 months ago with cancer. The doctors said it was a very agressive cancer.

I am so, so, so sorry. She must have been a very beautiful, wonderful person though to have deserved such a peaceful, meaningful last few minutes. How many of us will be so lucky?
