My husband has stage 111a ncls. He has had surgery to remove the tumor but it has spread to lymph nodes. He will probably start chemo next week, but I am concerned about this lump at he base of his skull.
The doctors are aware it is there and his brain scan should no cancer, but sometimes he will say he has a slight headache. I know that lung cancer can spread to the brain.
Does anyone have any insight on lumps at base of skull?
I am not sure, but maybe it could be a swollen lymph node? I am not sure where all of your lymph nodes are located. Did you ask the doctors what the lump is? What did they tell you? I am one for asking questions so if you don't feel like you know what is going on...ask, ask and ask until you understand everything. I hope your husband tolerates chemo well and he gets great results!
