Our Journey Begins

My huband begin radation tomorrow for the first time since his surgery in November. The doctor did tell us today that even though the cancer is still within his chest that the cancer had spread outside of the lymph nodes in the center of his chest.

My husband had two primary lung cancers in the same lung. Each doctor when they learn this just say, "uh". Does anyone know what that could mean?

Re: Our Journey Begins

Hi, I think that I feel so bad that you are here due to where life brought you but welcome. My first reaction would be to have a second opinion, but sometimes these things are controlled by bigger forces than ourselves and so here you have your hubby with big issues.
I wish I had a magic wand to make it all better, but LC is wicked and takes every trick it can manage.
Pray, be a woman of faith and heart, try to rest...as you are able to, and know that here are many that understand perfectly where your life is at...

Take care. Hugs love peace and prayers...
Jan

Re: Our Journey Begins

Hope all has gone well for your Husband, I guess its possible to have 2 primary cancers. My Father in law has leukemia, skin cancer and now lung cancer but his consultant maintains that all are separate cancers, you must look after yourself its so easy to concentrate on your Husband and let yourself get run down.
