| Ct Tomorrow
My husband has been a moderate to heavy smoker for 30 years. At his last physical his Doc found pulmonary effusion. He goes in tomorrow for a CT and they are going to try to drain the fluid and test it. I almost lost him a few years ago when his appendix ruptured. I feel like I am shaking apart on the inside. I know his Doc suspects lung cancer. Trying to remain calm untill we know something is making me nuts! He didn't want anyone comming to the hospital with us, but it looks like our daughters and grandson, my Mother-in-law and our Minister will be there. I may need to be sedated before tomorrow is over. My Mother-in-law acts like everything is a social occasion and I'm afraid she'll be playing tea party with no idea of how potentially serious things are. When she finds out, we'll be in for a lenghty dramatic demonstration. She will probably end up being a patient in the hospital before the day is over.
