Has anyone been in the situation waiting, can you tell me if she has to have chemo what actually happens? Is it once a week once a day or once a month, will she be very sick? Will she lose her hair? Her reaction was that she didnt want chemo because she would be sicker than she is now. She feels that with cancer in both lungs she may not live long and is being ill all the time what she wants? We are in limbo at the moment until we hear from the oncologist. Comments appreciated please.

My dad had tumors in both lungs, too. If we had to do it again, we would never have had him had chemo. It took away his hair and his health. I am so sorry to be pessimistic, but if you read the data, it is not very good for long term for you mum. If I were you, I would enjoy your mom and have her enjoy her last days. Chemo takes away anything good that they might have had.
