pain help [plzzzzzz - Cancer: Lung Message Board

hi..
i m a student here in delhi ,india...turned 20 this year...i smoked for at most 1 year about 4 or 5 cigretts a day....now from about one or two months use to have pain in centre(near right side) of my chest sometimes feel like something pinching.....
and there some times i use to have soreness in my back side....
...
consulted a doctor also...he says it is due to acidity and late nights studies...
yet i do not cough...and quitting smoking .....now a days 6 or 7 in a month........
IS THIS IS A SYMPTOM OF CANCER?????????.....i am really horrified here...
this pain locations changes too.....mostly at centre-right....sometimes at the ribs also(very rarely)......
last week i had muscular pains also in my biceps .....
SOME ONE PLEASE HELP ME OUT........smoking is really bad....n i will suggest every one not to try this ever......
help me plzz!!!

hey my hubby just pass on Nov 8 2008. he had lung cancer. glad you quick smoking. we all know its not good for us. dont ignore your pain. you might have acid reflux. I also hurt in my chest. its a tightness. try taking acid reducers over the counter. take care disney world

Boy,

Stop worrying its just an Acid Relfux which is causing a problem. Start doing some exercise everyday and take some antacids for some days it should go off. If you are getting relief by taking antacids than to get a cure of this problem you should stay away from stress anxiety and worry. Its just a simple thing which can lead to regular problem if not treated properly.

The word is Eat 3 hrs before going to bed. Do not fill up your stomach. Drink plenty of water. Stay away from tension n all. Yoga might help you getting of this problem easy.
