Question Lung cancer plus phnemonia .

Hello , my father in law has lung cancer (final stages) , and has dropped from 205lbs to 110lbs in the last 6 months. And now he has phnemonia ...he's 4000 miles away and it's very hard on all of us ...since we just lost my mother in law suddenly a year ago. up till a year ago they where both very healthy ...so we're all still realling from this. When we first found out that he was sick and terminal we went out and said our good byes. But we would really like to go out again and see him ...we'd like to be there at the end for him ..calling every day just isn't enough. Now getting to my question ...how will we know when the end is near........he's still at home (his choice ) ..not on oxegen and not bringing up any blood but he is finding it very very hard to breathe.....
