My question is if a doctor finds a lung nodule on the Ct scan how come all they want to do is monitor it? Why don't they just remove it and be done with it instead of having put the patient thru Ct scans every six months for two or more years to make sure it isn't cancerous?
It doesn't make sense!
Remove the nodule when spotted on the CT scan and lower the chances of that person having to undergo needless amounts of radation.
Just confused on their methods.
