I would not put your mother through chemo at the stage she's at....given her age and weight. The fact she has no appetite is a sign that the end is coming. Her body is preparing itself for its final journey. My father had absolutely no appetite (and no desire for any food at all) in the last month of his life when he was dying of lung cancer. It drove my mother crazy, she had a hard time accepting the fact that he wouldn't eat.
Be there for your mother, at this point that's pretty much all you can do, else than provide her all the love and care she needs. Be strong.
