First of all, try not to worry- I know this is easier said than done, but it wont actually help you!
I'm sure that the first priority is to get the pneumonia cleared up & I'm sure you are in good hands at hospital & receiving the right treatment for this to happen.
By all means ask to see the CT scan- & ask if someone can explain it to you- a 2nd opinion may help. As the pneumonia is so wide spread this is probably why there is so much scar tissue?
