| fuzzy spot on lung
My 80 year old mom was just told she has a fuzzy spot on her lung(CT scan). She just had surgery for peripheral artery disease and the spot was discovered during a pre test scan. She's very healthy, still works full time and is on her feet 6 to 8 hours a day, doesn't cough, not short of breath and quit smoking 30 years ago. She did have pneumonia about 50 years ago. What could this be other than lung cancer? From what I've read it most likely is cancer and since it's a spot and not a mass it's still relatively small.
