Hi Everyone, my dad recently had a Chest X-ray and subsequent CT Scan which showed/suggested malignancy on the upper lobe of his right lung. He is scheduled for a needle biopsy next week, but had a question about the type of mass that was found. The Dr. saw a "star-shaped" mass and as I've scoured the internet, I can't seem to find anything about this oddly shapped mass? Does anyone have any ideas on what this could be? I'm scared and confused, and the biopsy seems forever away

Any and all suggestions would be appreciated.
