I got an xray for a shoulder injury. They found something in my lungs. Then they did a separate chest xray and a CT scan. The doctor found the same stuff in my lungs. The doctor called and said it looks malignant. She said it is not just a simple shadow, it is a more complex mark. I know it is possible to have lung cancer at a young age. But I am 25 years old. I JUST turned 25. I have been smoking maybe 1 pack a week since I was 17. People smoke a pack a day since they were younger and smoke a pack a day till they are 50. Still they get lung cancer at 60......Do I just have terrible luck? Also, is it treatable at this stage or am I bound to an early death? I am going for a biospy tomorrow.

ps* they said the growth was about 1 inch in size
