Stage 3B - Why is lung fluid too thick to remove.
My Mom had fluid removed from her left lung 8 weeks ago and it has returned.
Today, she went to have it removed again and they were unable to remove it because it had "jelled" and was too thick.
She sees her oncologist next week....but I'm curious to know more about this. What is it called and why does it become thick? Thank you for any information you have. ---Cindy
