Running long distances with lung cancer??

I run long distances on a regular basis. Stopped smoking about 8 years ago now 46. I have a pain for the past month. Pain is on the upper left side of my back and front left side of my chest. Also funny pain on the left side that goes up my neck.
Is there a chance that I would have a lung cancer and still be able to run this much??
