Smile Alloderm and surgical procedure

I have been recently diagnosed with oral cancer . The decision has been to go with surgery and if required radiation. Now I am advised that AlloDem could be used to line the floor of my mouth in other words as a surface on the floor of my mouth, OR my own dermis which would obviously entail a surgical procedure. I am struggling with the notion of having cadaver skin inside my mouth. Also if I were to proceed with Alloderm, barring any unforeseen circumstance , is this a permanent fix? I alos understand that my own skin is still required on top of the alloderm? Is this correct?

Any information or feedback would be appreciated from individuals with like or similar cancer.
