| Urgent please; had an untreated mouth ulcer for almost 2 years
I'm not sure exactly when it started,...but it was atleast 1.5 years ago. Whenever I smoke it seems to flare up ALOT, making it difficult to close my mouth sometimes without accidently scraping past it. I needed fillings for quite some time, and I thinkkkkk my teeth might have been quite sharp and thus created an ulcer which never heals. Not sure if thats possible though.
It is dark pinkish in colour, nearly cheek colour. it is located on the inside of my cheek. Could this be anything serious? Could it be anything non-serious? After I have had cold things and not eaten anything hot that day, it seems to get to a size where i dont even feel it in my mouth anymore...unless I use my tounge.
I am going to ring up my dentist about it on Monday. Last time I went into the dentist, she didn't say anything about it. Infact she didn't mention it twice. Does this mean she thinks its not a cancer? Could she be wrong and just clueless about mouth cancer? Really dont want to have cancer obviously.
