paqncreatic cancer/high bilirubin levels

Hi, my best friends father in law was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in April. He has been going through chemo. Today, they went to have his infusion and his bilirubin level is 23.8. The doctors informed them that they would not be able to do chemo anymore and that he would most likely slip into a coma soon and never wake up. I am trying to find some sort of a timeline, based on his bilirubin levels. I have found that they can cause brain damage and cardiovascular issues. The cancer has spread, liver, lymph nodes, hips, femur, ribs & skull. What can we expect next? With his levels this high, at what point is he going to slip away? Thanks so much!

Read this thread:

I found it to be most informative. My Dad is in the last end stages right now. Pancreatic cancer is a evil thing.
