I'm sorry about your grandpa. My best friend lived for a year after being diagnosed stage 4. Another friend lived 2 months.
Toward the end, they may sleep more, eat less and not be too involved with what is going on around them. Sometimes if the cancer has gone to the brain or the toxins have built up in the liver, they may have a personality change. As the bile builds, their skin color may be very yellow.
PanCan can give you alot of information. Take the time now though to tell your grandpa everything you want to say and share good memories. It will help you knowing you left nothing unsaid and I think it gives them peace knowing it's ok to move on. Good luck
