| what does it mean when no primary tumor can be found?
I just posted earlier about what to expect for my mom's secondary liver cancer. I am still trying to gather information from her Dr. But so far I was told that the CT (neck to belly) was not able to identify the primary source. What does this mean?
The Dr. only asked my Mom to have one more test (ultrason?) to see if the source might be the ovary. Why just ovary? Why not check breasts, lunch, colon and all that?
The Dr. also said sometimes the source can never be found. Is this true? Why?
