What is this pain!

I've been feeling off for about 6 weeks. 24/7 shortness of breath, palpatations in throat, rapid heart at times, adrenalin surges, left ribs are sore to touch ecspecially my bottom rib, bad breathing attacks that keep from sleeping.

Well the last 5 days I've developed some new symptoms. I have a near constant intense burning in my upper abdomen that tends to come in waves at times, I get nauseas at times, Right below the sternum between ribs is tender and i get this choking sensaton in my throat and my throat feels full with a lot of pressure. I'm concened the burning stomach, tenderness and nausea could be pancreas. Does this sound accurate? What is the best way to rule out pancreas issues??

Sorry that you are feeling so sick. What does your doctor say?

Re: What is this pain!

Pancreatic pain is usually felt right in the middle of your chest, between your breasts. When I am having a pancreatic attack or spasm, my pain is unbearable. I cannot do anything else but curl in a ball until it's over. Some of the pain also radiates to your back. You would need blood work to check for infection or inflammation of the pancreas. Your pain sounds more like GERD or reflux. Gerd can also be painful. See a gastro doctor if it doesn't subside. Good luck
