Ok I have the dreaded PC. One core out of 12 and came up with
a 6 on the Gleason scale. Decided to do the watchful waiting, PSA every
4 months and biopsy after one year and if everything remains the same,
a biopsy every two years. Anybody else doing the same thing?

Sounds like you've got a good approach- was that the suggestion of your urologist? How old are you now? What has your PSA trend been? (The quality of response on the board might be better if you are able to provide a little more background like this, and any particular comments made by your physician(s).)
I am 65 and have enjoyed good health. My PSA level was consistant at 2.4 and in
Oct. it went up to 4.3. At this point I went to a Urologist and tested for 3.75. One
month later I had the biopsy done. I went on the fish diet and eating everything
with antioxidants in it.
I cannot comment from direct experience...however, here's the link to an excellent post on this board regarding Active Surveillance written by Jim (IADT3since2000):
Got a little bad news, had PSA test last week. Dr. called this morning
seems it went up to 5 from 3.75. When he did the biopsy he detected
some swelling caused by possible infection. He is going to put me on
antibiotic for a month then 2 weeks later do another PSA.

Good luck with the next PSA-- you might be pleasantly surprised if it comes back down. You're certainly keeping on top of things, which is good. Keep us posted.
