The urination difficulties you describe are classic symptoms of Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia
(BPH) disorder. I suggest you schedule an appointment with a Urologist
for an exam including Digital Rectal Exam
(DRE) and urine specimen (possible urinary track infection) asap. After that, a prostate biopsy may be in order
. Erectile issues are most likely the result of hypertension medications but, again, this is something your Urologist
will address with you.
The pain in your hips may
, blood tests (PSA?) by your Endocrinologist (why?) aside, point to bone density or PCa metastisis problems. If indicated by your Urologist
, a Whole Body Bone Imaging Scan may be ordered for radiology interpretation of any "hot spots".
If I sound like an authority, it's because my situation is very similiar to yours. I've been through (and continue to go through) all the expensive, demoralizing, undignified, time consuming and agonizing treatment steps toward the possiblity of favorable resolution.
Hope this helps,
