Radiation ulceration - need help - big time!!!!

Speaking with my colo/rectal doctor today, after informing him that I had developed a fistula was very unsettleing. He is talking about removing my prostate as well as my bladder and my rectum. This is the worst-case scenerio of course, but he seems at a loss of what else to do. He had planned a diverting colostomy that was to be temporary to allow the ulceration to heal. Well the situation has changed.

He may be beyond his depth here. Surely there must be a specialist out there who can correct this situation.

Anybody, anybody at all, that has any knowledge of dealing with this, I would want to hear from, in the worst way.

Please help!!!

If you can travel then you should get to the best surgical center you can find. Johns Hopkins Medical Center in Baltimore or perhaps Emory Medical Center in Atlanta for example. Fax or Email your medical records ahead.
