Estrogen and 5AR's

Hi all,
I have followed Honda's questions about the 5AR's, finesteride and advodart.
This past month Ray's PSA has increased from 19.3 to 21.37, I was wondering if it would be any use to try and get one of these added to the mix. Any thoughts anyone???
At this stage always looking for something that will hold or decrease the PSA.

Thanks,
Ann

I think it certainly couldn't hurt to try it.

I think you said that ketoconazole no longer worked. Are any of the following drugs yet available there? Jevtana (Cabazitaxel), Zytiga (abiraterone), Custersin, Denosumab (Xgeva or Prolia), Zometa (zoledronic acid) or Revlimid (lenalidomide). Some of these can be useful in combination and in slowing down metastases.

Have you tried natural progesterone?

Thanks Allen,
Haven't been along the chemo pathway as yet, but Ray certainly feels he's running out of options. I will keep looking...
