It's only one set of four or five treatments. Because the total dose is only half that of IMRT, while the biologically effective dose is higher (in my case, over a third higher), local re-treatment is possible, although the local failure rate is exceedingly low.

You can always be treated for other cancers that may occur elsewhere. I think CyberKnife was first used for brain cancers. The radiation is very precise and the dose outside the target zone falls off very quickly.
By the way, it's not just for those who are "long in the tooth," or for just those with low risk PC. Let us know how it goes.
