| Worried about anal cancer
Hello,
For the past couple of months I have experience anal itching. It seems to be getting better, since I dont use as much force when cleaning the area and refrain from scratching.
I have had anal fissures in the past, but not recently.
What I have noticed is that if my stool is softer, there is an indent allong the side. When the stool is hard the indent is not there. The shape of the stool is more indented and oddly shapped at the end of the movement. Would this be a sign of anal cancer?
I am 28, no other symptoms or health problems and no history of colon, rectal or other cancer in the family.
