Crusty Mole on arm.............
HI! I have a mole on my arm that within the past two weeks has been scabbing over. I have NOT been in the sun at all, due to previous dealings with cancer. Has anyone ever experienced this before? Also, the mole is a little red around the edges. Thanks for any help.

I have not had this, but if you want peace of mind, go see your dermatologist. Peace of mind can be wonderous. If you want to wait, then try putting some lotion on it and see if the crusty stuff goes away. Could be you have dry skin and it is irritated.

Anytime a mole changes in any way can be cause for concern. I would have it checked by a dermatologist as soon as possible. It may be nothing, but the general rule is if a mole changes in appearance, have it looked at.
