hi! i just had a lump cut out of my lower leg-the biopsy test came back as squamous cell cancer(bowen's disease).doc is going to take out a larger piece next week to see if he can get it all-if not, i'll be sent to a surgeon to take out an even larger amount. anyone have this and how did it turn out for you? anymore treatment needed after this? i know very little about this kind of cancer.thanks for your info!!

Sorry to hear you have cancer. The good news is there is a 90% cure rate for bowen's disease that has progressed and nearly 100% for contained cancer. Your doctors will probably know more and let you know more after your surgery. A good place to read about this is at:
