My mole got scratched off by accident ! - Cancer: Skin Message Board

My mole had become a little scabby from itching it a few days before... and I was rolling round with my girlfriend, when she accidentally caught it with her nail... and now I have a plaster on it. Because it is hanging off. Anyone have any advice on whether this could be dangerous

Being that your mole was itcy and scabby, I would try to keep the mole still partially attached and have a doctor evaluate it for you. I would want to know if it was itcy/scabby for a reason, like skin cancer. If it is negative, you can breathe easy. If it is not, then you can have the proper amount cut out to insure that they got it all. When it comes to your health, better safe than sorry.
