Hello, it also is a black round mole (normal) with white little bits on it, that look like pearls. When you put a touch of say rubbing alcohol on it it shows them up. These are generally not to be of concern. and tend to tell that it is not MM.
I have MM and had a rather large BLACK raised ugly non ulcerated one dx's as MM and the follow up WLE had clear margins.
The mole I have on my chest, (the one with the pearly look to it) was solid black but as the years pass it is more of a dark grey. It is one to keep an eye on, but for now and has been so far nothing to worry about.
Seeing your doctor about your mole will def ease your mind.
