mole on chin is hurting?!?!?! - Cancer: Skin Message Board

i have had this mole for at least 3 years and it has always had a hair growing from it . just recently it has started hurting . just wondering if i should worry about it . maybe go get it removed and tested or just leave it alone. any insight would be wonderful.

I had a mole with hair growing out of it. All around the mole turned red and was sensitive. I went to the derm and she removed it. The outcome was an infected hair follicle. So I would suggest putting some neosporum (spelling?) on it for a couple of days and if it doesn't get better see the doctor. Or if you are mole phobic like I can be at times, just go to the derm and have it removed.

Just had the mole removed and it came back non cancerous.....thank god!!!!!
