hi, i am 22 yrs old and just became a mother in april. i have always had a lot of freckles and a few moles but i never started worrying about them until recently. can anyone tell me the difference between skin tags and raised moles? i have two of what i thought were skin tags since i can sort of "maneuver" them around. there is no pain associated with them and they do not bleed or anything like that. one is on my upper back and the other is on the crease between my leg and stomach (tmi?!). the thing is that i was looking at them the other day and both of them are flesh colored but both have a bit of brown running through them. is this normal for a skin tag? or a raised mole? i quit my job to stay home with my daughter so right now i don't have any insurance. i really dont want to go to the doctor unless it is really necessary as money is tight around here right now. but if i need to i will definately work something out though. i am just getting so worried over this as i am afraid these could be melanoma and who knows how long i have had it! are there any symptoms to look for as the melanoma becomes worse and spreads? i appreciate any feedback!
