scaring............yikes - Cancer: Skin Message Board

What about scaring...
anyone have any advise?
I have a major scar on left thigh 7 inches long - very thick/looks like a shark bite (my husband says), 1 on the back of my leg, and one on the groin - not real worried and not to many people will see this one!
ANY ADVISE on what to use on these!

THere is an over the counter scar cream for children. Will it work on adult skin I am not aware of. For the most part, scarring is just that scars. Laser surgery might help. But I wouldnt chance even that. Best ofluck! I have a big scar on my arm. Its a reminder to me where I've been and where I dont want to go again. I call it my battle scar. The battle I won with the Lord's help!
