Is this a change in mole size? - Cancer: Skin Message Board

Hy, I am 18 years old and on March 12 I've noticed a red bump under my mole. The bump was sore and it was hurting to touch like a pimple. On March 16th, I went to the doctor(not dermathologist) and she told me that she thinks it is a cyst under my mole and that the mole itself is benign. Now, she told me to look out for some changes. I will post two pictures showing my mole on March 13th and on March 17th. If you could please tell me if this is something to report to the doctor I would be grateful.

I doubt you will be able to post pictures here, as I believe that is not allowed per forum rules.

My suggestion to people is that if they are really concerned, make an appointmen with a doctor (dermatologist). It's your body, your health, don't sell yourself short. I tried to compare my melanoma to the pictures online, and it didn't look like any of the pictures seen. So, you can't always go by what looks typical, IMO.
