Grey spot... is it cancer?

Please help me. I am only 20 years old and very scared. About a week ago I got a bump behind my ear right by my hair line. At first I thought it was just a mole, but it became raised and feels kind of Lacey. It does not hurt at all and is sort of brown in color but more of a pinkish. Then today I noticed on my abdominal area a grey patch of skin that looks like a bruise but it does not hurt at all. Its just a grey patch around 1 1/2 inchs long with little black spots. I have no family history of cancer that I know of. I do tan and smoke ciggarettes. Please help me Im very scared.

Hei!
I think that the best advice for you would be to stop worrying and just make an appointment with derm! You can keep searching on internet for an advice, or you can just go to derm and get it checked. Sooner you do it, sooner you`ll get rid of fear!
wishing you all the luck,
Jasmiina

Re: Grey spot... is it cancer?

What you have needs to be looked at by a Dr., usually a Dermatologist. Not all moles or unusual marks are cancer but the sooner you get it checked out the better. I myslef have had many moles or weird looking spots removed just by freezing them off yet 2 were cancerous but caught early. Don't try to self diagnose yourself and obviously we can't as we are not Drs. I know your scared but getting whatever it is looked at will ease your mind and if it is cancerous and caught early it could be removed easily.

Best of wishes and good luck...JJ...
